Brown Butter Sage Sauce

Time: 3 minutes start to finish (depending on stove)

Directions: Melt 4 tbsp of butter in a small to medium size sauté pan. As it melts, continually stir and scrape the bottom of the pan with a spatula. After it’s completely melted, add in 1 tbsp fresh or ground sage. Continue cooking, stirring, and scraping the bottom of the pan constantly until the butter starts to turn a light brown color. Immediately take it off the heat. Another way to know when it’s done is to keep smelling the sauce as it cooks. As soon as it smells nutty, take it off the heat. Add your choice of ravioli or pasta!
